At Social Media Brand Experts we know your videos for your personal YouTube channel will be very different than videos to promote your business products and services. Business videos not only provide great content for your audience, but they help to improve your SEO ranking!
As we did a few weeks ago, we are again going to look at tips to help create better videos to promote your business, products and/or services. Remember to create categories on your YouTube channel so people can find relevant material on certain subjects. Here are three more video tips for consideration.
Create a Video Series
Your one-off videos are a great way to grab your viewers’ attention. With a series of videos that are engaging, it will keep your viewers coming back week after week. A good example of this is the ‘Modster’ Ben Heck, a video series put on by the electronic design engineer company Element14. Google it and see what we are talking about. When you launch a series make sure you tell your viewers it is a series and label them in the title i.e. Part 1 and so on. This also gives you the opportunity to ask viewers to subscribe to your YouTube channel so they don’t miss an episode in your series! Always organise your series of videos into a specific playlist so viewers can watch all videos in the series in one go if so desired.
News and Opinions
Are you in a fast paced consumer focused industry? If yes, you have an opportunity to become an expert by making videos to discuss expert opinions and breaking industry news. Create a daily or weekly video, react to trends or topics, discuss what is rising in the search trends or breaking news, and support your videos through your social media channels.
Have your Audience Include your Products in their Videos
Here is a fun way to get your audience involved with your brand. Have them include your products in their video. Think of this like product placement in films. You can share these customer created videos on a playlist on your YouTube channel or share them on other social media sites. Remember, promoting your customers’ videos will play to their vanity and they will be more likely to share your channel. Also, customers love competitions, so make a challenge to see who can come up with the best video around the product, and the best video voted by your customers will win a prize!
These are just three more ideas to help you create videos for your YouTube account. Remember to be creative, think outside the box and have fun and don’t forget to socially share your videos with your social media followers!
